I absolutely despise these influencers and fake Instagram models who would be nobody without the Internet. It's amazing that women who would be a dime a dozen in some nightclub craft their way through Instagram to end up marrying themselves to hundreds of millions dollars as an NBA wife. The just released HBO documentary Fake Famous shows just how it's done.

The lure of making large sums of money by posting pictures online has turned the job of being a full-time social media influencer into one of the most aspirational career choices for young people around the world.
Influencers on Instagram who have over a million followers can make more than $250,000 per post from brands, while someone like Kylie Jenner can make around $1 million for a single sponsored Instagram post.

Now HBO’s new documentary “Fake Famous,” which premieres on Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET., aims to show just how easy it can be to game the social media economy in order to become a famous online “influencer.”

Putting this on my must watch list. Easy peasy money for these influencers especially if they have the looks and expose some skin. This all originates with the Kardashians and Paris Hilton.

How exactly are they exposed?

We all know they get a ton of money for not much.

But hey they are just accepting money that is someone willing to pay them.

That is capitalism

The influence of social networks is now very large. I also don't understand these girls with pumped lips and a bunch of filters. This is overkill. Promotion is good for business. I decided to go to the site https://accfarm.com/buy-instagram-accounts and find out how to promote the company page. Thanks to this, our indicators have doubled. Social media must be used wisely.

Its crazy stuff , being a " social media influencer " is definitely a career choice many youngsters & adults aspire too .
Some of these SMI become internet celebs get their 5 minutes of fame so to speak & make big money in the process .
many others can do well if they market themselves right & their videos, etc catch on .
So many people chasing the dream of becoming an SMI , so many wanting the fame & notoriety that comes along with it ..... & The dollars ?
it's kinda like when I was growing up & spent alot of time on the public housing basketball courts
I'd swear everybody wanted to be a baller ?
now you see people ( youngsters & adults ) writing , creating & filming content for their social media posts wether it's YOUTUBE , TIKTOK , INSTAGRAM or whatever .
